Description
Scope of Services
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (“District”) owns a 20 million gallon per day (“MGD”) annual
average daily flow (“AADF”) Water Resource Recovery Facility (“WRRF”), which is operated by Reedy Creek
Energy Services (“RCES”), as well as a Solid Waste Transfer Station (“SWTS”), to which both facilities are
located at South Service Lane, Lake Buena Vista, FL. In addition, the District owns and operates thirty-two (32) lift stations throughout the boundaries of the District.
Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment and tools to perform tank cleaning, wet well
cleaning, hydro excavation, line jetting cleanout, decontamination services and environmental cleanup for
the facilities, as requested by the District including, but not limited
to the following:
A. Provide equipment suitable to remove sewage, grease sediment, and all other debris.
B. Provide equipment to pressure wash walls.
C. Remove equipment suitable to operate in confined space environments.
D. Provide equipment suitable for decontamination services relating to Sanitary Sewer Spill or Overflows (“SSO”).
E. Provide equipment operators trained to perform the applicable services.
F. Provide all equipment and supplies for meeting all safety requirements.
G. Provide all equipment to diagnose and remove any and all obstructions, jetting, and line clearing.
H. Dispose of all contaminated material at location off property, including but not limited to temporary storage, if required.
I. Contractor must indicate within their submittal what facility they are using for disposal.
J. CCTV/Video Inspection, as needed
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 or HAZWOPER 40 certifications for all field personnel working at District facilities.
Other Details
The District is awarding three contracts for these services to the low bidder, and the next low. The basis of award will be the three lowest responsive bidders of the line items 1 through 9. However, the District may choose to award in its best interest.
