Scope of Services
The City of Ontario is requesting proposals for Quarterly Inspection and Preventative Maintenance on Fitness/Exercise Equipment located at all Ontario Fire Stations, currently eleven (11) Fire Stations. In addition, the new Fire Administration/Headquarters building, projected to open in early 2027.

Bidder may begin bid submission at any time, save information, modify or withdraw bid up to the bid closing deadline.
Please note: Insurance limits are non-negotiable, and awardee will need to provide certification as specified in Bid Documents
Notes
The bidder is solely responsible for “on time” submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder’s sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. Questions of an operational nature may be directed to the City’s Purchasing office at (909) 395-2012. This is a State Prevailing Wage Project.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to become familiar with the contract documents in their entirety.
All forms in the bid booklet must be properly completed to be deemed responsive.
The City reserves the right to order more, less, or no items at the “per unit cost” stated in the bid proposal.
The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests.

Although price is a factor in selection of supplier(s), award may not be made strictly on the basis of low bid. The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial irregularity in any bid if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
