The scope of work will consist of strategic communications including development of project specific based comprehensive communication strategies, public relations, and community outreach services including organizing and leading stakeholder meetings on an on-call/as-needed by basis for City Administration and Communications, and the Department of Economic Development. Other Details The City of Palm Springs, with a full-time population of approximately 48,000 residents, is an internationally recognized resort community located in Southern California’s Coachella Valley. The City is served by one of the most forward-thinking City Councils in the State of California. Residents, businesses, and community stakeholders depend on the City to provide timely, accurate information regarding municipal operations, public policies, City Council initiatives, major projects and programs, and local emergency response efforts. To support these needs, the City is seeking to retain a firm or multiple firms to provide on-call strategic communication services in partnership with the City Manager’s Office, the Communications Department, and the Economic Development Department. Notes These services may be collectively awarded to one firm or awarded to multiple firms. If awarded separately they are intended to be distinguished by 1) City Administration and Communications, and 2) Department of Economic Development, either of which may retain one or more firms.
