The scope of work will consist of strategic communications including development of project specific based comprehensive communication strategies, public relations, and community outreach services including organizing and leading stakeholder meetings on an on-call/as-needed basis for PSP. Other Details Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is entering a period of significant growth and transformation, with multiple large-scale infrastructure projects planned and underway, including terminal expansion, a new consolidated rental car center (CONRAC), and a Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility. As these projects move forward, PSP recognizes the importance of clear, consistent, and strategic communication with the traveling public, airport tenants, elected officials, and the broader community. To support these efforts, PSP is seeking professional strategic communications services on an on-call, as-needed basis. The selected Consultant will help PSP proactively share information, build public understanding of project benefits and timelines, and engage stakeholders in meaningful dialogue about upcoming changes. This support will include developing communications strategies and materials, managing community outreach and engagement, providing counsel on government and media relations, and assisting with crisis and rapid-response communications. Through this RFQ, PSP aims to ensure that its communications are transparent, accessible, and aligned with the City of Palm Springs’ broader messaging while effectively showcasing the PSP’s continued investment in the region’s future. Notes Work will be compensated on an hourly rate basis in accordance with individually approved proposals resulting in the issuance of purchase orders. Contract pricing includes all labor, expenses, and incidentals to complete the work outlined in the contract scope. The Consultant may request monthly payments based on the percentage of work completed for the previous month as long as a detailed progress report is provided to support the amount requested.
