Seeks vendor to conduct outreach activities informing low-income households about SNAP availability, eligibility, and benefits. Suitable for non-profit organizations or social service providers.

SNAP Outreach is a 50 percent reimbursement program in which the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) reimburses approved, reasonable, and necessary SNAP Outreach expenditures. The Federal funding is granted with the understanding that this funding supports the implementation of outreach activities to inform low-income households about the availability, eligibility requirements, application procedures and the benefits of SNAP. OTDA funds this Required Source contract and authorizes HRA to contract with Food Bank for New York City.
