There are currently one hundred eighteen (118) different depositors, of which twenty-five (25) are located in South Lake Tahoe and a majority located in the Placerville area. The Treasurer – Tax Collector Department processes one hundred percent (100%) of the pool investment transactions and approximately ninety-eight percent (98%) of the depository and reconciliation services. The Office of the Auditor-Controller processes approximately ninety-eight percent (98%) of the County’s disbursements. County prefers the bank have established offices in El Dorado County, specifically in Placerville, Cameron Park, and El Dorado Hills, as well as a banking center, alternative depository source, or same day courier service in South Lake Tahoe. Proposers should be prepared to provide accommodations for check cashing and same-day deposit (or cover additional costs to the County) if no branch exists within the County service area. This Request for Proposal (RFP) may result in a single award or multiple awards. If an award is made, it is the County’s intent to award an agreement for a five (5) year term, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended. It is the County’s intent to maintain all of its operational banking services with one (1) banking institution, and, as such, all proposals must include services for all bank accounts. The County reserves the right to add or reduce the number of accounts required to meet its banking objectives.
