Set-Asides
Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB)
A subset of WOSB for women-owned firms whose owners also meet economic disadvantage criteria.
Definition
EDWOSB is a stricter subset of WOSB. Firms must be WOSB-eligible AND the women owners must meet economic disadvantage criteria — personal net worth under $850K (excluding firm equity and primary residence), AGI averaging under $400K over three years, and personal assets under $6.5M.
When it applies
EDWOSB firms can compete for EDWOSB-only set-asides in addition to WOSB set-asides and general small-business set-asides. Sole-source awards up to $4.5M ($7M for manufacturing) when only one responsible EDWOSB is identified.
