Austin Light Rail will help support the City's long term population and economic growth, meet increasing travel demand, improve transit access to jobs and other opportunities, and support the growth and connectivity of our City. The Contractor will provide the Operations and Maintenance Facility ("OMF") for Austin Light Rail under a progressive design-build contract, as further described in this RFQ. The scope of the Contract will include the operations and maintenance facilities to support Austin Light Rail, encompassing administration and operations areas, LRV maintenance areas, an LRV storage yard, maintenance of way areas, and the light rail transit control center.
