Improvements include, but are not limited to, timber tie replacement, rail replacement in designated curves, ballast installation, track surfacing and regulating, replacement of other track material (OTM), and rehabilitation of a selected public grade crossing. Other Details Construction activities may include earthwork, track work, ballast placement, surfacing and regulating, rail destressing, and crossing panel installation. The work will require coordination with SCRRA operations, signal and communications forces, third-party railroads, local agencies, and other affected stakeholders to maintain safe and continuous rail operations during construction.
