Description

Seeks a one-year extension for an existing contract providing permanent housing and supportive services to HASA clients. A vendor experienced in social services and housing management would bid.

In accordance with PPB Rule Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii), the HRA/HASA is requesting a one-year Negotiated Acquisition Extension (NAE) for the Harlem Congregation for Community Improvement, Inc.'s contract for 60 scatter site units. This contract provides permanent housing and supportive services for HASA clients. Tis NAE with incumbent vendor is to maintain continuity of shelter services for HASA clients for the minimum amount of time until new RFP awards are processed. Prior to utilizing the NAE method, DSS exhausted both Renewal and Extensions for this contract. The vendor's performance has been satisfactory.
